Clare Mackie Illustration
Clare Mackie is an illustrator whose work you will have probably seen on your travels. In fact you may have even bought or received something that has some of her work on it.
Her work is vibrant, colourful and full of a unique, joyful streak that creates a world of its own.
Clare wanted me to make a site that reflected her work, that was instilled with the atmosphere that her drawings are full of.
So I decided to make a collage of a variety of her characters, and inadvertently made a little party scene at the top of the site where you can see dancing frogs, enormous cakes, talking carrots and the devil kicking a tray of confectionery.
The site is made using a CSS based layout and is standards compliant.
More importantly it was a lot of fun to make, Clare’s drawings are lovely things and I advise you to go and check them out.
