Hits The Other Way
This site is still very much a work in progress, as sections are added all the time.
The site is primarily a resource for performers and advertisers to have versions of popular songs made to their particular requirements.
The site will soon have a comprehensive database with audio samples and track information, but currently is in it's beta phase.
Falmouth Shout
Falmouth Shout are a group of Cornish Shanty Singers. Frankly I was surprised as you'd think to be contacted by them in terms of creating a site to publicise their group, but it was great to make.
The brief was to make a site that was informative, embraced the ideas and history of what shanty singing is all about and was fun. They have a guy who dresses as a parrot for their shows so I had no concerns that they were frowning traditionalists...
But take a look, a group of good, good people who sing for enjoyment and raise money for the RNLI in the process.
As always the site was made using CSS, search engine optimised and follows web standards.
