Louise Cooper
Louise Cooper is a local novelist, her most famous work is the Time Master Trilogy.
These most well-known novels are based in the Fantasy genre, but Louise also writes very successful childrens and young adult novels. Subsequently she requested that her site had more of a dark, sinister edge (an atmosphere all of her work share) but wasn't overtly fantasy oriented. So, inspired by some of Louise's own photography and her writing, I made this site.
The site also contains a journal and messageboard which are both based on PHP/MySql database server-side coding and make her site interactive for her many readers. The site is designed using valid CSS, search engine optimised coding.
Bonbi Forest
Bonbi Forest make beautiful, handmade, individual jewellery and printed t-shirts.
All of the company's designs are based on the illustrations of Bonbi
Forest creator Lee May Foster.
The website needed to reflect the colourful exuberance of Bonbi Forest's products so we created a site which has a hand-drawn feel that combines accessibility with Lee May's drawings.
The site is both a portfolio for the company and also a fully working e-commerce store.
The site has been created using a custom made CSS-layout and with validated coding.
